- For fewer problems, thanks to unlock your phone tutorial available
here. If it is already unlocked, you can switch to flash. The release
does not pass on higher versions v10g with this method (v10g included).
- Start LGMDP_H3G_SC_mod_Ku990.EXE. Download HERE
- Click on "select port" connected with the mobile phone (USB mode data service)
- Select the COM port for your ku990 and click connect. (photo1)
- Pick up your firmware by clicking the browse line Image Folder. (1 photo 2). See section below "in case of trouble" if your firmware in *. dz.
- Choose Reset database & content, say Ok to the warning message. (2 photo 2)
- Click on START.
The flash begins. Laissez faire, the KU990 will turn on and off several
times, it's normal. The yellow screen is normal too. - Once the message "Download
Completed" appears on the soft and the calibration of the stylus on
the mobile phone is that the flash is finished. Do not disconnect your mobile BEFORE!
Your Ku990 is now flashed and updated.
In case of problems:- If the mobile phone would indicate "invalid sim", flash the file to your flex.ini ku990. Is that your mobile has not been unlocked before the flash
- If no network must rewrite the nv files
- The firmware can be formatted ***. dz in the photo above, choose DS bottom right and enter your firmware format dz.

Reset your ku990

- Search "test mode" and select "factory reset".
- Let redémmarrez gsm.
To know the version of your ku990
- Turn on the ku990 sim free.
- Press camera button and lock together.
- Released, the keyboard will appear.
- Type 3845 # * 990 #, a menu opens.
- Select "SW Version info".
- It will be written something like below: KU-990-MSM6280-V10g-APR-30-2008-EN (xxxxxx).
- The V10g represents the hardware version of ku990.
- From version V10g (including v10g), the mobile phone is not unlockable by the method described here
